用心 'Yong Xin'​​​​​​​

The Han character title of my painting ‘yong xin’ is one of my favorite classic Chinese cultural keywords. ‘Yong xin’ is a way of life, which means to look, to listen, to think, to do things, to treat others, with the utmost care, and to pay attention to detail. The literal translation of ‘yong xin’(use heart) doesn’t deliver its deeper meaning. I have a better translation for 心 ‘xin’—the higher self. ‘Yong xin’, therefore, is the realization when one is connected with the higher self.
